Daniel Marcinko - Public Works Leader in Snoqualmie, Washington

Active with the American Public Works Association, Daniel Marcinko is a Washington state civic leader who served as the city of Snoqualmie’s Parks and Public Works director. Tasked with parks, streets, the utilities division oversight, he also managed facilities and fleet and oversaw a staff of 46 team members. Daniel Marcinko’s achievements in Snoqualmie included coordinating the city’s yearly grant program and managing the budget, as well as delivering quality contract engineering solutions.

Mr. Marcinko’s past experience includes a role as a regional construction manager with Walgreens in Illinois. Guiding the efforts of staff engineers, field supervisors, and contractors, he ensured the seamless completion of store building projects. Each project had a budget ranging from $20 to 45 million. He also oversaw efforts in far-flung locations, including South Padre Island.

Mr. Marcinko currently engages as a capital projects and grants manager in North Bend, Washington. He works to mitigate risk and provides assurance of regulatory compliance, while also meeting the expectations of key stakeholders. Active in his community, he was active with the Rotary Club for more than a decade and served as president for two years.
